In my professional life, among other things as a managing director, human resources manager or scientific assistant, I have experienced time and again how essential good communication is as the basis for economic and private development.
However, our fast-moving times, which often do not give us enough room to listen to others, teams with people from different cultural backgrounds or the increasing challenges on everyone make this necessary good communication more difficult. Instead of working together towards a common goal, teams are breaking apart or managers are reaching their limits – in not only in reaching their content-related workload, but manage people at the same time.
My interest in people has taken me abroad for many years (e.g. USA, UK, Turkey or Spain). Here I had the opportunity to learn about the differences of people and cultures, which I now incorporate into my work as a mediator and coach. Also my experience in different sectors like production, health, finance or science help me in these tasks.
In mediation I work in different constellations and fields. In organizations, it is often groups and teams that need support in change-processes, sometimes with the simultaneous involvement of management. Here it is exciting to experience the dynamics that come together in mediation and to reshape them with the mediators in order to pursue a common goal again.
Executive coaching is about people in leading positions and the numerous challenges they have to face in their working but also private environment (see also conflict coaching). My coaching approach is characterised by empathy and encouragement based on trust and loyalty.
